GetAtmStrategyPositionAveragePrice

I'm attempting to retrieve the average price for each running Atm Strategy in an indicator.

When I run something like this:

StrategyBase sb = order.GetOwnerStrategy();
double avgPrice = sb.GetAtmStrategyPositionAveragePrice(sb.Id.ToStri ng());

Then the GetAtmStrategyPositionAveragePrice() method generates the following error:
'GetAtmStrategyPositionAveragePrice' method error: ATM strategy ID '184729210' does not exist

Am I doing something wrong? What is the best way to get the average price for an active Atm Strategy?

Hello martyn73,

Strategy.GetOwnerStrategy() is not documented and is not guaranteed to work as expected.

GetAtmStrategyPositionAveragePrice() only works in NinjaScript Strategies.

From the Addon approach you need an actual AtmStrategy object (not just an ID) where you can get the <AtmStrategy>.Position.Averageprice. You can make your own method to do this.
