    Draw.ArrowUp/Draw.ArrowDown

    In looking at the Draw.Arrow function, I'm wondering how to control the size of the "Arrow", also, I would like to control where the arrow is placed (instead of on the bar, have the arrow drawn where an event takes place, say where %K crosses %D, and offset from the crossing by some amount). I hope tthis makes sense.

    Thanks

    Hi dmking, thanks for your post.

    The Arrow chart markers have a static size. If you need variable size arrows one would need to do custom drawing in SharpDX. To have an arrow draw on a condition you would need to wrap the Draw.ArrowDown() method within an IF statement with the condition e.g.

    Code:
    public class MyCustomIndicator : Indicator
        {
            private Stochastics Stochastics1;

            protected override void OnStateChange()
            {
                if (State == State.SetDefaults)
                {
                    ...
                }
                else if (State == State.Configure)
                {
                }
                else if (State == State.DataLoaded)
                {
                    Stochastics1                = Stochastics(Close, 7, 14, 3);
                    Stochastics1.Plots[0].Brush = Brushes.DodgerBlue;
                    Stochastics1.Plots[1].Brush = Brushes.Goldenrod;
                    AddChartIndicator(Stochastics1);
                }
            }

            protected override void OnBarUpdate()
            {

                if (CurrentBars[0] < 1)
                    return;

                if (CrossAbove(Stochastics1.K, Stochastics1.D, 1))
                {
                    Draw.ArrowDown(this, @"DownArray " + Convert.ToString(CurrentBars[0]) + @" ", false, 0, (High[0] + (10 * TickSize)) , Brushes.Red);
                }

            }
    Please let me know if I can assist any further.
