Indicator cause "no response" of Chart - after run it for a while

I developed a indicator. it works well when I load it. but after a while, it caused the chart "no response". The other chart still ok.

I guess because my indicator create a list each time when the bar closed. So maybe it caused using too much memory?

Please help me figure it out. Thanks

Hi LadGta2018, thanks for your question.

It depends on what is in the indicator code (how the arrays are used in the script). We recommend using the Series<T> object when possible. a list or some data structure can be used as the Type (T), but within reason. Lists and structures that are too big can cause performance issues.

I look forward to hearing from you.

      Thanks for quick response.

Do you think List.Clear() will help ? how about GC.Collect()?

Hi LadGta2018, thanks for your reply.

I'm not sure because it depends on how the lists are being used in the code. Testing different optimization techniques would be the only way to know for certain.

        Kind regards.
