To all the good coders and programmers out there...


There is a NT user app called "Mirror bars" which allows for inverted bar types (such as time based, tick, volume)... but it does not include range bars. Does anyone know how to get range bars added to this "mirror bar" type?

An option that is available is to have this done by a 3rd party programmers through the Ninjatrader Ecosystem, if this is of interest we can provide a link to such.

Thank you PaulH. Please leave this thread open. I noticed you converted this bar type from NT7 to NT8. Would you have any idea how to add Range bars as an option?

Thanks for your reply.

Please note that we converted the NinjaTrader 7 user apps to NinjaTrader8 during the early days of NinjaTrader8 so that new users would be able to access the same apps when transitioning from NinjaTrader7. We do not provide customization services which you are welcome to do, or have done for you by a 3rd party, as the source code is provided for just that purpose.

If you would like to modify this bar type yourself, I recommend familiarity with C# programming language.

The NinjaTrader 8 Range bar type is available for review in the Ninjascript editor and you would have to review its requirements to then incorporate into the Mirror bars script.
