Hello Cassius Romarius,
Thanks for your post.
Yes, it is possible through custom programming in Ninjascript.
There may already be something that can help here.
If those lines are manually created using the drawing tools then you can use an add-on that provides "labeled" lines where you can input text to display above or below the line.
If those lines are actually plots generated by an indicator, then you can use an add-on that will automatically label the plots with their plot names.
I will link both of these below.
These indicator are publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website:
https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...-drawing-tool/https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use.../addplotnames/
Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.
To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.
To Import- Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
- From the Control Center window select the menu Tools>Import>Ninjascript add-on..
- Select the downloaded .zip file
- NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'
In the case of the labeled lines, these will be added to your Drawinghg menu in each chart (under the pencil icon).
In the case of thee AddPlotNames, you would add the indicator to the chart and it will automatically go through all plots in the price panel and display their assigned plot names (no means to change the plot names).

Perfect! Thank you. One more question: how do I make the colors and the font size setting permanent?Last edited by Cassius Romarius; 10-26-2020, 11:44 AM.

Hello Cassius Romarius,
Here is a short video that shows how to change what is displayed: https://paul-ninjatrader.tinytake.co...Ml8xMTUyMDkxMg
You can create any number of "templates" where you define the font, size, text and color and then "load" them through the template selection.

It works great, thanks, except for one detail - it doesn't show the price and text at the same time.1 Photo

Hello Cassius Romarius,
Thanks for your reply.
When I create a labeled line and add text to it and set it to global, I see the line at the same price and location on the other charts and it has both text and price. Note: I did not use a template.
Can you provide a step by step process of what you are doing so I can test on my end?Paul H.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello Paul,
I tried it earlier, draw line on any chart, go to line properties by double click, & in attach to select all charts. Now you can open another chart in same workspace so the line should be there. Here you will notice price will not be appended as its not compatible.

Hello Cassius Romarius,
I've now fixed this issue & now you can append price in global objects as well. Here you get the modified version.

Hello Cassius Romarius,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, under tools>Options>general, enable "Global Drawing Objects Across Workspaces".
