"Volume Value Area Lines" indicator.
(for example: like the Volume Value Area Lines sierra chart is offering)


Is there such a thing for ninjatrader?

I'm not interested in the "full" Order Volume Profile.
I just want to see the developing Volume High and Volume Low area.
Is there a way to get / reference to this information / data and program an own indicator?

I suggest checking the User App Share for free scripts that may fit your need. You may also reference the source code of one of these indicators if you would like to implement only part of the functionality in a simpler indicator.

Many people like using dValueArea, but if you are looking for something simpler you could consider CalculateValueArea indicator.

I recommend downloading and testing a few and picking the one you feel more comfortable with.

Yes you can do that with the Order Flow Volume Profile Indicator if you have a NinjaTrader Lifetime License: Under "Lines" Under "Developing POC" & "Developing Value Area" click on each and check "Visible". You can change color and dash also. If you only want to see (DVPOC, DVAH & DVAL), make sure all other "Lines" "Visible" are unchecked. Under "Visual", uncheck "Show POC" & "Show Value Area" and "Color for Profile" I changed color to "Transparent".
