    X-axis independent

    Hello everyone

I am trying to plot some T&S data on chart and I would like that X-axis and chart scale be independent, as a second skin....
Any help how can I approach to this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Rosario,

Below is a link to an example that gets these values.

The values themselves can be drawn with Draw.Text() / Draw.TextFixed() or can be custom rendered.

      Hello Chelsea

Thanks for your answer. What I want is use your TnSVolumeExample in 1 tick period over a 1 minute chart, so that Draw.Text () will be independent of 1 minute chart.

      Any trick for doing so?

        Hello Rosario,

The example updates for every tick and can be applied to any chart with any bar type and any interval. No tricks required.

Draw.Text() draws on the chart on a specific bar. Again this can be any bar type, no tricks required.

          Hello, Chelsea

Sorry for my little english, I am not explaining well. When I refer a trick is how can I show every tick dinamically with TnSVolumeExample, last trade at the end of chart, although chart timeframe be 1 minute or 1 hour, similar to image attached.

I do not know how to draw independtly from chart primary timeframe...

            Hello Rosario,

Draw.TextFixed() will draw in a corner of the chart.

If you want custom renderings like in your screenshot, you will need to custom render these in OnRender() and OnRenderTargetChanged() similar to the example I have provided you.
