Indicator shows up available, but not in explorer

I have an indicator ("PotHL") applied to a chart. It works fine and shows up in the "available" indicators list. However, when I create a new NinjaScript Editor window, the indicator does not appear available for modification. What's up with that??

    Hello UliSchmuli,

    Thanks for your post.

A developer or vendor may send a NinjaScript AddOn as a protected assembly (DLL) if they want to protect their code from being viewed or modified.

If the indicator comes as a protected assembly (DLL) then you would not be able to view the indicator in the NinjaScript Editor window. This indicator would be able to be used on a chart, however.

You would need to reach out to the developer of the indicator for an unprotected version of the indicator that you could modify.

This is MY indicator and no 3rd party indicators are involved.

        Hello Uli Schmuli,

        Thanks for your note.

It could be that the 'Name' property of the indicator is not the same as the name of the indicator file.

NinjaScripts displayed in the NinjaScript Editor will be listed by file name. NinjaScripts in an Indicators or Strategies dialog will be listed by the script's Name property.

Please make sure that your NinjaScripts are compiled and then check for the scripts by their Name property in the Indicators/Strategies dialog. The Name property is set in the script's OnStateChange method.

If your scripts are compiled and you have checked the Name property and they are still unlisted, please check the log tab of the Control Center for any errors that the script has thrown which will prevent it from being listed.

Let me know if I may assist further.

          Thank you, Brandon
This was the fix. I renamed the script file and it all came together.
