Change the X-axis on a chart?

I have never tried this in NinjaTrader before, but is it possible when programming an indicator to use the X-axis for something other than date/time? What if I have a couple different lists or arrays I want to show by index count -- 1,2,3,4,... as the X-axis? It would be like a scatter plot or multiple Y values per X value. X could be "days" or "minutes" or "hours", but not a specific sequence of dates/times. Is this possible?

Thank you for the question.

I am unsure if there is any possible way to do this currently. I will put in a question to development to see if there are any exposed controls to NinjaScript currently. There are other chart like controls in the platform that do use other values for the X axis but these are likely custom controls for a specific purpose.

That would be awesome if you could ask, thanks Jesse! I am skeptical that it can be done though, because all chart panels seem to have to move in unison, so they all must have the same X axis values, and I don't think you can have the main Panel 1 X axis be anything but bar dates/times.

I just wanted to reply back on this item.

This is as I had thought, the other charts in the platform are completely custom and not specifically related to the ChartControl you see in a chart.

Because there is currently no solution for this, I have put in a feature request for a custom chart control for NinjaScript to allow for more advanced charting tools.
