SuperDOM Data Source - Data Vendor or Broker

Hi. I subscribed with NT after several days using the trial. I have IQFeed as a data vendor and IB as a broker. Both have level I and level II data. Since I can choose which account to get data from, which is the SuperDOM data source - data vendor or broker?

Is there a specific reason you are using data from IQFeed and connecting to Interactive Brokers?

For example, many traders use IQFeed for the historical tick data which is not supported from the connection from IB. In this case, you would need to connect to IQFeed first and IB second, or set the Preferred connections for historical data in the Tools -> Options -> Market Data window.

As an NT newbie, one of the issues that was difficult to determine was when it is better to use IB and when to use IQFeed. From feedback from other users, it appears that it is better to get both historical and real-time data from IQFeed, and use the IB connection only for trade executions.

I've already set the connections in the Tools -> Options -> Market Data window. The process was quite straight-forward.
