Is there documentation on custom connection development?

I realize that there is currently no Etrade connection available for Ninjatrader 8. Is it possible for me to develop my own, using Etrade 's API(Json or XML)? Are you able to refer me to the relevant documentation for developing custom connections to Ninjatrader?

Do you plan to add E*TRADE to the list of supported brokers in the future? What are the criteria for deciding which brokers and data-feed you support?

I will also ping our development to see if there is any further information we can provide.

There are no plans at this time to support ETrade with NinjaTrader.
The connection adapters available are from connections our leadership has made with brokers and data providers and is also partly driven by customer demand.

Firstly I would like to thank the NinjaTrader development team, you guys are doing a fantastic job. Secondly, I would like to follow up on the ticket# SFT-2384 to Integrate E*TRADE with NinjaTrader. I have several business and personal accounts with E*TRADE and would really appreciate being able to use NinjaTrader. E*TRADE has become better recently with the commissions ($4.95) as well as Routing. E*TRADE also provides bank level two-factor token dongle security authentication. You would have my business as well as many of my friends and family. I humbly request for you to Please continue to push this request and kindly provide an ETA on integrating NinjaTrader with etrade.
