    NT8 is crashing

    Hi,

    I'm getting this issue (sceenshot attached)
    after I'm trying to compile
    any idea?

    What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.X.0)

    Can the crash be reproduced? In other words, does it take a particular series of actions to cause the crash? For example, open the NinjaScript editor and do x? If so, what are these exact steps?

    Or does the crash seem to be intermittent and random?

      this is the version:
      8.0.7.0 64-bit (Standard)
      and it happen every time I try to compile (every script, not just particular one)

        You are using an older and unsupported version of NinjaTrader 8. Please uninstall and re-install NinjaTrader. This will not remove any of your custom files or settings.
        • Close all running applications.
        • Make sure NinjaTrader is closed from the Windows Task Manager:
        • * Press CTRL + ALT + DEL on your keyboard > Start Task Manager...
        • * Processes tab
        • * Locate and highlight "NinjaTrader.exe" > Click "End Process"
        • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features
        • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 8 and click Remove.
        • Navigate to the following folders and delete any "NinjaTrader 8" folders located here:
        • * C:\Program Files (x86)\
        • or
        • * C:\Program Files\
        • Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader from the link below:

          I'm still getting this issue.

          Should I delete all my local data?

          why does this system has an unhandled Exception ?

            I would not recommend removing any NinjaTrader files until we find the root of what you're experiencing. I'll need to look at your log and trace files to learn more.

            Please don't include them on the forum as they can contain sensitive information.

            Write an email to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com. Make sure to include a link to this forum thread and also 'ticket 1750820 ATTN Patrick G'.

            Follow these steps to attach your log and trace files:
            • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
            • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
            • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
            • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
