Alert issue

I have an alert on an indicator crossing a horizontal line. When I change the timeframe of the chart the chart does not refresh. Reloading data brings the chart back, but minus the line associated with the alert. The alert is to trigger 2 orders.

When an order is associated with an indicator you get a warning about losing the association if you change time frame, or instrument.

Should these warnings be given for the alert above?

Is there a way to avoid losing the lines? The alert is not deleted.

Is there a way to save alerts on one chart and load them on another (like a template for an alert)?

Currently, there is no means around the alerts being tied to one chart and interval. This suggestion has been assigned the internal tracking id of SFT-1145.

I don't necessarily want it tied. I would prefer to be able to change the chart and for the alert to continue to work.
