    Hello Tasuki,
Can you please clarify if your setting for "Equidistant bar spacing" is enabled or disabled at this time? You will find this within the chart properties (right click within the chart > properties) and is the second option in the General section.

Thanks for the reply, Ryan. Yes, equidistant bar spacing is checked (see attached chart). Man is it weird if you don't check it.

See attached chart. Is this problem of overlapping candles (which is really annoying) a result of the "preset" function withing the chart "properties"?

Adjust your bar spacing with Ctrl+Down. Then save as default.

            Hello,
As eDanny mentioned you may use CTRL+Down/Up arrow to move the bars apart. You may also use ALT+Down/Up to adjust the chart bars as well. Please alter the chart using these commands and save the chart as the default.

Thanks, guys, but I'm still not clear on how "preset" "save" and "restor"e work. So, for example, what the heck does "restore" do? Restore to what, exactly? Is there some instruction somewhere on how this works?

                Hello Tasuki,
To save this as your default please right click within the chart > Templates > Save as default. The preset options within the Chart Properties option will allow you to save the properties as a preset if you select "save". However, the restore function will restore to the NinjaTrader default.
