Trade Performance discrepencies

Hi NT,

I am trying a new technique on SIM101.
I reset the account to 20,000 a few days ago.
3-4 days later, and after a string of loosers, the accout dropped to near 19,000.
Since then, I have re-couple some of the loss and its now show at about 19,700.
screenshot(1). I am not flat with no positions.

I had a ATM strategy (auto breakeven) which i sometimes used throughout this process. (dont think this is relevant)

Then I decided to open the "Trade Performance" tool, to see the trades taken thus far.
The first thing I noticed is that the Total Net Profit is $60. screenshot(2).
Shouldnt this number match the account cash value ?

The other strange thing is the actual trades themselves.
I went short 7 lots of M6A and covered later for a $198 profit as the market analyser.
but the "Trades" on the trade performance tool shows trade for 3 lots.

Any ideas around what could be causing such discrepencies ?

Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

Your total net profit will almost never match your account value. The total net profit reports how much profit you made on the trades in question. This value would be added to/subtracted from your account balance.

The Trades display shows individual trades. If you buy 3 contracts at one price and exit at one price, that will count as one trade. The Trades display reports the PnL on individual trades. You are in fact looking at the PnL for that trade only, not the Cumulative PnL. The Market Analyzer displays your PnL for that instrument, or how much you have gained or lost trading the M6A.
