Sim Account(s) Pile Up Orders Which Can't Be Canceled

Basically what the title says. Every couple days stop orders will pile up in the ORDERS tab, which cannot be canceled. They seem to be associated with previous orders. Resetting the account fixes the orders, but it makes it extremely difficult to forward test when you have to reset the account on a weekly basis.

    Why does this happen?

It seems like strategies are terribly bugged. There will often invisible copies running in the background, too, causing extra orders and desychronization. It's horribly frustrating, and makes me skeptical of using this software to trade live.

    Hello,

    Thank you for posting.

I'm happy to check into this with you if you would please email us at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic files in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170925.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.

      Hi Drew,

Will it be a problem if the accounts were recently reset?

        liquid150,

This shouldn't be a problem, though I may also require the log files for this particular case. I see you have written into Platform Support, so I'll follow up with you via email.
