Old orders still in live Orders tab

    Old orders still in live Orders tab

    I have some old orders showing up in the executions and orders tabs, and they add up in the Filled Sells column in the Accounts tab every time I connect. The account is flat.

    Is there any way to remove them? Thanks.

    Would these trades be live trades or simulated?

      They were live trades.

        Were these trades placed today? If so, it would be expected that the day's orders and executions still appear.

            I'm happy to check into this with you if you would please email us at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic files in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20171001.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.

              Do you need copies of today's files, or the days of the orders that are stuck ?

                This is known issue in 8.0.9.0 which will be resolved in a future release. Look for '12140' in the release notes when a new version of NinjaTrader 8 is released:



                The only solution to remove these orders right now would be to reset your database which removes historical trades and orders from the database. If you'd like to continue with the database reset, please follow the steps below:
                • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via Connections > Disconnect
                • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Database
                • Press "Reset DB"
                • Check Historical Orders to remove historical orders
                • Check Historical Trades to remove historical trades
                • Press the "Reset" button
