    Alarms still working when close and re-open NT8

    Hi,

    I would like to know if it`s possible to keep ALARMs plotted still working when I close the Ninja Trader 8 and then I open the software? I need that my alarms previously configured keep working normally...

    Hello,

    Currently alert configuration is all held locally on your PC as opposed to on our servers therefore for alerts to trigger NinjaTrader would need to be open and connected.

    I have submitted this suggestion to our development team and will follow up as soon as a tracking number has been assigned.

      Alright, but is it possible to keep alarms actived when I close and open the program?

        If your alert is enabled and you save your workspace when opening NinjaTrader again the alert will be enabled.

          The big problem is...

          I set an alarm on a horizontal line for example.

          and then I save workspace and close NT8.... and then I open NT8.

          THe problem is that the alarm is not linked to the object anymore.

            I have tested this and cannot reproduce this behavior on my end.

            So I can further assist can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed which can be found in the Control Center under Help->About.

            Also can you tell me if you are using the Playback connection when this occurs.

              I am using last version of NT8 8.0.9.0.

              My connection is FXCM Demo.

              First, I set the alarm on a Horizontal Line and then I close the software.

              After that, I open the NT8 and the alarm is not linked anymore.

                So I may test using your workspace please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Workspace files and UI settings".
