Ninjascripts not showing up in strategies?

I have the Ninjascript editor with a list of compiled strategies and then try and add them to a strategy window and they are not available?

They are listed in the editor but not in the strategy list. The strategies work, but when re-saved and compiled successfully they do not appear in the strategy list?

I cannot fathom where they are?

    Many thanks

    Hello fredfred123,

    Thank you for your post.

Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

If possible, please include a screenshot of the error(s).
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

    Click here for instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...#1TC=windows-8

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Click here for detailed instruction: http://take-a-screenshot.org/

I look forward to your response.

      There are no error messages?
The strategies are there on the Strategy editor and can be opened and compiled successfully but just not on the list when adding strategies to a chart or through the command window?

      Many thanks

Without seeing what you are doing exactly, i can only guess that All 3 names are not the same.

        Filename, class name, display name.

Your strategy is probably with a different name.

Just checked again on the Ninjascripts. All reference is to a filename OneTimeshort.
The Public Class is the same and filename in the Script editor shows the same.

Just not appearing on the strategy list ?

                Hello fredfred123,

Thank you for your time today.

We corrected the missing strategies by ensuring their Name property in the Configure State was unique for each strategy.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry for refreshing this topic. But I'm actually having exactly the same issue.
I have my strategy in the editor correctly compiled, but I can't see it in the strategies window.
The name of the cs file, the name of the class and the name of the strategy in property are exactly the same.
How did you solve this issue ?

                    Hello thanajo,

                    Thank you for your reply.

The previous issue was resolved because the Name property of the strategy didn't match the class name, which you've stated isn't the case here.

Are there any errors regarding the strategy in the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what is the full text of the error?

Do you have any other scripts with the same name?

Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.

                      Thanks foy your reply Kate.
                      I finally got it fixed.
My mistake was : I was calling SetStopLoss and SetProfitTarget method in the State.Defaults part instead of the State.Configure part.
That does not trigger any compiling error, but that resolved as an Unavailable strategy.

                      So it's now fixed.
                      Thank you.
