This was requested a number of months ago, and I have stopped using NT8 because it was not addressed in time. It was requested that we be able to make the refresh rate on individual charts settable, to be able to determine at what frequency the data refreshes. I believe that it had been hard-coded to be .5 seconds, but I pointed out at the time that many charts do not need that level of refresh (like daily/weekly/monthly charts), and that to save on CPU resources we should be able to set the refresh rate to something slower.
I understand that NT's reluctance to change the refresh rate to something faster than .5 seconds was due to possible performance issues, but leaving aside the merits of that particular argument, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever why you wouldn't want to allow us to make the rate slower than the standard .5 seconds if we wanted to.
Has this already been added, and if not, is it going to be added soon? And if not, why not? Considering the fact that people may have many other programs running other than NT8, CPU resources are always going to be something that we want to optimize. Thanks!
