Scroll bar keeps resetting with each Chart Tab

Hi!,

With the latest version 8.0.9.0, whenever I click a chart tab, it resets the scroll position to the far right even if I'd adjusted it moments ago.

Its nice to have some space on the right so I always move the scroll bar to the left somewhat (using the bar itself, or dragging middle of window with the mouse).

I'm guessing this is a new feature because it didn't work like this in 8.0.6.0. It seems strange that just switching chart tabs would keep "adjusting" the view for me.

Can it be disabled? Did someone actually request this as a feature?

Thank you for reporting this behavior.

Specifically the behavior is that when scrolling to the right past the end bar, when the chart is inactive and becomes active the scroll is set back to the end bar, is this correct?
This behavior is not occurring for you when scrolling to the left, correct?

I'll check with development to see if this if this is expected behavior. If it is not I'll send a report and if it is, I'll forward a feature request on your behalf to have a chart re-activate allowing the scroll position to be to the right of the last bar on the chart.

In the meantime, you can increase the right-side margin if you would like some space on the right.

• Right-click the chart -> select Properties
• Increase the value for 'Right side margin' -> click OK
