Sound not playing.

    Sound not playing.

    For some reason the sounds aren't playing such Ordercanceled, Orderfilled, Orderpending etc.

    All the wav files are there: C:\program files (86)\NinjaTrader 8\Sounds

    Any reason why?

    PS- don't know if it is related but my data series time language keeps changing from English to German or Spanish too

    Thank you for your post.

    Glad to assist. First, please verify the sounds are enabled via Tools > Options > Sounds. If needed, select the box next to the action > Press OK.

    If you still see the same after taking these steps, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.


    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

    * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

    We look forward to assisting further.

      Attached is a screen shot of the sounds. I don't see a box next to the action.

          Got it sorted out - thanks. Turns out One Drive was the fly in the ointment.
