There is no update on SFT-2837, but we're still tracking it. There is typically no update for a feature request until it has been implemented into the public release. When a feature request is implemented, you'll find it in the release notes:

In the meantime, how do people with IB accounts backtest their NT strategies? do they download historical data from another provider?

Hi NT team,

Could you please let me know how to add my vote for this new future "SFT-2837" for IBs Tick Historical Market Data.

At least add this future for markets other than US if its getting conflict with your business model for market data in US.

We don't have other choice than IBKR in EU to trade in local markets. Please consider this future for the sake of community of users in EU / countries other than US at least.

Note : I am a life time licensed user of NT.
