    Hello woodie1,

This particular approach to modifying the chart UI wpf is not documented and was thus was not directly mentioned in the release notes.
While a note was added to the release notes that the chart trader area was updated to now be resizable (13132), there wasn't any mention of what changes were applied in the core code to achieve this or that this was a code breaking change as it was never documented.

Even with documented code, the NinjaTrader Development team does have to change the inner workings of the code to correct bugs and implement new features. Some of those changes may be code breaking changes. The majority of drastic code breaking changes have in the past been reserved for major new version numbers and this will likely continue to be the trend. However, small code breaking changes can still occur.

As a side note, this also caused issues with some of the examples I have personally made and uploaded to the forums and I am also having to re-code these. In particular the ChartCustomSidePanelExample_NT8 indicator that adds a panel right where the gridsplitter just got added.

        Hello brent,

No, the 8.0.16.2 release does not remove the gridsplitter from the chart trader area.

Same problem here since the update. The chart trader is smashed down to a few pixels on the chart and there is no way to resize it back to normal. This happens on any chart regardless of if there are indicators on it.

            Hello RandomTask,

This may be due to the toolbar indicator you have applied to the chart.

If you open a new chart without applying any indicators are you able to reproduce the behavior?

Have you checked with the vendor that distributes that toolbar to see if there is an updated version?

I'll give that a shot. It is an AddOn not an indicator if that makes any difference.

                Hello RandomTask,

It wouldn't matter the type of script (indicator vs addon) if its modifying the wpf elements of a chart.

(This could be another behavior so we want to eliminate that 3rd party script having an affect first)
