Importing Historical Data

I was able to get Historical Data on charts that go back 5 years by putting that in the Data Series days to load section. Why am I able to get all this Historical data when all this time I was trying to manually import it? I wasn't even signed in to any account and I was still able to get 5 years worth of historical data?

What kind of historical data did you load 5 years of?

Did you migrate historical data from NT7?

I connect to forex.com. they don't proving historical data upon connecting them. Befn trying to figure out how to upload historical data for the past week. Tried doing in manually. I just recently came across with what I did to get historical data as I mentioned in previous post. The type of historical data I got was well candlesticks. I am not sure where all this data came from. Ninjatrader mentions that they only provide with some historical data not all and I tried manually Importing from their historical data server that they do provide I'm which we have to import manually. Other way would be to purchase historical data from kinetic but I was trying to get historical data free first. No I did not migrate historical data from nt7 never used it I just put 1825 on the "days to load" section in the Data Series window. So where's this data coming from?

If you are not connected to a data feed NinjaTrader will load historical data from your \Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\ folder

NinjaTrader does not come pre-installed with historical data, so if you did not download it from a data feed or third party then someone else must have.
