Playback control hotkeys

Hey guys,

Are there any hotkeys that I can use for the Playback control? If not, can you please add it to the feature request list?

The most important would be start, stop, and increase and decrease the speed.

Thank you for posting in our forum! There is currently no way to use Hot Keys for the Playback controls in NinjaTrader 8, but I would be happy to submit a feature request for this.

+1 vote for this feature. The chart trading playback feature of Ninja Trader seems superior to all the other platforms. A hot key will make it more complete. Currently I'm using AutoHotKey and binding Win+Z to click on the play/pause button at the bottom left corner of the screen.

To clarify. I'd like to have the ability to start / stop and change the playback speed up and down. Thank you!

This would be really helpful for sure. Being able to control the main functions would be great. I sometimes would practice a section of the day a couple of times over...so maybe think about one day adding a bookmark to quickly return to also.
