  • Horizontal Lines changed to nonvisible, but will not save that way

    NT8 version 8.0.15.1 64-bit

    I drew a few horizontal lines on a chart, set them all to not visible and then exited NT8, saving the workspace. When I reopen NT8 the lines are visible on the chart.

    chartish, Looks like this was unintended and a fix is being pushed out with 8.0.17.0. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for that release at this time. When a new release is implemented, you'll find it in the release notes: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...ease_notes.htm

    I do see the same behavior with global drawing objects. My hunch is that this is expected for performance reasons, but I am looking into it. I will let you know here when I have more information.

    The lines were drawn as SPY (all charts). When I make them invisible, they are invisible in all charts. However, when I close and save and then bring up NT8 they are visible again.

    Thanks for your post.

    This is not occurring for me on version 8.0.16.1 , Upgrading is simple and can be accomplished by following these steps.
    Note: Following these steps will not affect your data, settings, configuration, Indicators, Strategies, Workspaces, etc.
    • First, save your license key to a document
    • You can locate your license key by going to Help> License Key
    • Now exit NinjaTrader and uninstall it within Windows Control Center
    • Once uninstalled you can redownload NinjaTrader from the link below
    http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Paste your license key
    • Select Submit
    • Download and then run the installer
    Please let me know the results.
