    Data Box

    Ninjatrader 8 version 8.0.16.2 64-bit
    I enable the Data Box for viewing and set it to Always on Top. I exit Ninjatrader 8, save the workspace, reopen Ninjatrader and the Data Box is not Always on Top.

      I noticed another thing about the 'middle-mouse-click" databox. When you middle click on the in-progress bar, the values are all frozen unless you wiggle the mouse up and down.

        chartish, I have been playing around with this a little more and when I do the following I am able to get the workspace to save properly.
        • Save the workspace with the Data Box "Always on top" unchecked
        • Close the platform
        • Open the platform
        • Save the workspace with the Data Box "Always on top" checked
        • Close the platform
        • Open the platform
        ...the workspace saves properly. I have been able to reproduce one time on a fresh install, but after it saves properly I cannot reproduce. Does this describe the same thing you see?

            Well, that suggestion worked for a while, now it doesn't work. I think this is bug.

                  Please write in to PlatformSupport(AT)NinjaTrader(DOT)com and reference this forum post with RE:JOSH in the subject line. Please attach your Log and Trace files to your email so that I may investigate this matter further. You may follow the steps below to attach those files.
                  • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
                  • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                  • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
                  • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
