Bug? Mini Dax future and IB, wrong instrument reported in NT8.16.3

    Dear sir,

this is new since 8.16.0 which I used before. Using IB TWS 973.2l

A position in FDXM in TWS (here FDXM 12-18) is reported wrongly in NT8.16.3 as FDXM 12-99. This did not happen with versions 8.16.0 and previous.

    Please check and fix.
    Best regards
    Andreas

    Hello zweistein,

    Thanks for the note.

The link on the Interactive Brokers connection guide installs 973.2h.

Please uninstall the version you have then install again from this link

    www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrader/TWS/Trader-Workstation-973-2.exe

Please also follow the steps below to reset your instruments:
    • First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
    • Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
    • In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
    • Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur
Please let me know if I can assist further.

Your indication is wrong! I did install TWS from the location indicated and the problem persists.

          Zwienstein,

Long time, hope things are well. Thanks for reporting this.

Are you using the new 'beta functionality' IB API check-marked in the connection options for your IB connection? We only applied changes to the NT logic with this flag so its important to know what NT logic you are using for us to analyze further. If you are not using the new beta IB API then there should have been no NT logic changes, there must be a change of behaivior of new TWS we need to research.

          Thank You.
