Daily chart not updating

Daily chart not updating
I created a chart with custom indicators. Chart is based on daily data. I leave NinjaTrader opened for a few days to see if chart is being updated with new data. I noticed that chart doesn't update if I don't reopen it. Is this a problem of chart configuration or is this standard behavior of NinjaTrader? -

There are a few different reasons you could be experiencing this. I'll need more information to diagnose and resolve what you're experiencing. Please answer all of the following questions:- What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.X.X)
- Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
- What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-18, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
- Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
EDIT - we spoke via email and determined that this was expected due to being connected to Kinetick end-of-day (free) which only provides historical daily data.Last edited by NinjaTrader_PatrickG; 11-30-2018, 01:10 PM.
