Bitcoin chart for CME (BTC) not loading

Hi,

I am using the latest NT8 platform, 8.0.11.1 64.

I have included CME's bitcoin symbol to my instrument list, BTC 01-18

But the chart is showing me a blank chart

I also observed that there is an error messag in my log:"Failed to resolve instrument for market data: F.US.BRR.F18 could not be resolved."

Whenever i try reload histric data. Not sure if this is the reason\

Thank you for your posts,

Glad to assist. Resetting your instruments should resolve this item.

To reset your instruments, please take the steps below.

First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur

how can I resetting my instruments in Ninja 7.0.1000.37 to see BTC 01-18.
Chart is showing me a blank chart.

I went throught the steps, but this did not fix things. The error message is still the same one (see ystan79 's post).

Sorry to hear this has persisted, we have since my last post received more information on the error.

If using CQG/Continuum/NinjaTrader Continuum, go to Tools > Instruments /Instrument Manager. Search BTC and select by double-clicking. Scroll to the Symbol Map section (Misc tab in 7) and replace "BRR" instead with "BTC" > Press OK on each window.

For other providers or if the error persists, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your data provider and was is happening.

We look forward to assisting further.

So I am using CQG, and I can pull BTC up and have the DOM populate. The problem I am having though is that the chart will begin populating with one bar, then if i change the time frame or anything like that, the chart will clear out all loaded data and start again with one bar if that makes sense. Basically, it won't load any previous data from the time I open the chart.

Any ideas would be helpful,

BTC historical data is not currently available from NinjaTrader's servers. We plan on having BTC historical data tentatively available starting this evening.

When you reload your chart it is erasing the previous real-time data that had printed on the chart and starting over.

For now, you could choose to record real-time data as historical:
Tools > Options > Market Data
Enable 'Record live data as historical' > OK

I would recommend disabling this feature once BTC historical data is provided by our historical data servers.
