import tick data from nt8 to nt7

Is it possible to import tick data from nt 8 to nt 7.
I try without or not checking minute or day but it keep telling There has been an error on importing hd.

Thanks for your post.

How are you exporting your NT8 historical data? Did you export this data by going to Control Center>Tools>Export...>Historical Data... in NT8?

hist data load export

the data is there in the file but i get an error message with nt 7 on my other pc.

in nt 7 i go in hist data manager then import i tried generate minute day or without checking but no luck.

What version of NT7 are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.37)

That is an old and unsupported version of NinjaTrader, so I'd like to start with an update. Each release of NinjaTrader has nearly 100 fixes and the last several versions contain many critical updates to the database. Upgrading is simple and can be accomplished by following these steps.
Note: Following these steps will not affect your data, settings, configuration, NinjaScripts, Workspaces, etc.

• First, save your license key to a document
• You can locate your license key by going to Help> License Key
• Now exit NinjaTrader and uninstall it within Windows Control Center
• Once uninstalled you can redownload NinjaTrader from the link below

• Paste your license key
• Select Submit
• Download and then run the installer

i dont think its gonna work.
Its an old windows xp version so nt wont probably be supporting that.
im not using it live just as a backup to make some test.
Can last version of nt works on windows xp?

You are correct. We are unable to troubleshoot the operation of an installation on Windows XP. I am uncertain as to whether or not the newest version of NT7 will fix your error.
