SuperDom before the market open

Hi,
I'm testing the SuperDom with column like Volume and PnL and have been watching since 9 pm PST
pricee is moving up and down within the dom(market depth)
but volume and PnL columns are empty..
is Volume not showing until the market open. Is it normally?

another question is is it possible to plot this volume on a regular candle chart on NT8?

Thank you for writing in.

Glad to assist. Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.


What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-18, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.


To open a volume chart, go to New > Chart. Select an instrument from the Instrument drop-down, or select Magnifying glass to search, select by double-clicking. Once selected, you may use the Type drop-down menu to the right to select Volume. Press OK to open the chart.

You may also access these settings from an already open chart by right clicking > Data Series.

I'm connected with CQG and I use SuperDom and its volume and PnL on ES 12-18, YM 12-18 and RTY 12-18

Regarding the volume, I meant to display the same volume histogram that is being used on SuperDom on a regular chart (next to the candle)

It would be expected for the Volume column to update on market open. Regarding the PnL column, are you currently holding a position?

Volume information can be viewed via the Order flow charting items like Volumetric bars.

The Order Flow + features are applied as bar types and indicators.
For example, to change to the Volumemetric bar type > right click on the chart > Select Data Series > See the Type drop down menu for Volumetric.
For the VWAP or Trade Decector, right click on the Chart > Indicators > Scroll to the Os to the see the Order flow indicators.
