Installation Error

I tried to install NT8 on my virtualbox Windows 8.1 setup, but I keep getting an installation error. I used the default path. Also after registering to get the new NT8, the email response didn't provide a "NinjaTrader Free License Key" like it did for NT7. How can I resolve this installation problem?

Thank you for your post.

To resolve the situation you need to force explorer.exe to start with administrative rights:
Press CTRL + ALT + DEL and start the Task Manager...
Locate explorer.exe on the processes list
Right mouse click on explorer.exe > End Process
From the Task Manager > In the upper left hand corner > Click File > New Task...
Type "explorer.exe" and make sure you have the check mark on "Create this task with administrative privileges"
Click OK when finished

It will now be possible to install/uninstall NinjaTrader.

Once NinjaTrader is installed properly the Simulated key should already be applied to the platform.
