Bar Timer/Countdown

Hi NT,

Is there a Bar Countdown/Time indicator I can use ?
I am just looking for 'how many minutes are left until the bar closes' ?
I dont need an alert of anything fancy

By default there is an indicator included called "BarTimer" that can be applied to chart to show the remaining time before the bar closes.

Thanks, I dont see this Indicator when i rigt click on a chart and select Indicators.

The other issue I have here, is that my NT is changed from English to Spanish/Italian which means 'BarTimer' likely has another name - how can I change back to English?

To change the language back to English go to the Control Center->Tools->Options->Select English from the Language drop down which is the sixth option down->Click Ok then restart NinjaTrader and let me know if you then see "Bar timer" in the indicator list.

Can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed which can be found in the Control Center under Help->About.

Hi, why the bar timer indicator does not work for daily bars? It works only for intraday, It is also time that can be measured

The BarTimer was not created to work on daily bars, only intraday time based bars. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

For daily charts you can switch to 1440 Minute chart. In this case the bar timer works correctly.

Sure, but I assume that it would not accurately measure the start and end of the session, but since I changed the setting

It will report the remaining time for the current 1440 Minute bar to finish.
