Back up import Error

    Back up import Error

    I just bought a new computer and I am trying to use a back up file to restore all of my indicators and charts from my old computer. I am trying to import a back up file and I am getting an error message. Please see attached message. Please let me know what I need to do because I had all my indicators on my old computer and I am not able to bring them over currently.

    It is also telling me that I am using the 32bit when I should be using the 64 bit version. I always click on the 64 bit NT icon on my desktop when opening up the platform. Here is the error message I received. So I need help on 2 error messages

      Also, when I click directly on the back up icon on the desktop if gives me an exception error also. Then it automatically closes down on its own.

        Thank you for your note.

        I would like to take a look at your Log and Trace files to better determine what is occurring. Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2041634" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

            Chris,

            I am still getting the same error messages. When I download the NT8 platform I am using the one for existing users and putting my license key in and then downloading. I assume that is the one I should be downloading. But, it still will not allow me to import my back up. Its important that I am able to bring my indicators and existing charts I have set up.
