    Hello tonynt,

    Thanks for your post.

In NT8, go to the "Positions" tab of the control center and right mouse click where you will see the selection "Flatten everything"

        Hello,

thank you for your reply. In NT7 with flatten everything one could disable same time all scripts.
When now running more strategies (why? for currencies!) then one can not disable all strategies easily with flatten everything anymore before going back to sim mode? Need to check all and then disable?

        Thank you!
        Tony

          Hello tonynt,

          Thanks for your reply.

If you select flatten everything in the positions tab it would be expected to perform the same as the NT7 function.

With reference to the help guide section (linked below) the help guide states:

Flatten Everything* Flattens all open positions and cancels all working orders

*The Close Position and Flatten Everything functions are not guaranteed. (See the "Risks of Electronic Trading with NinjaTrader" section for more information)

          Reference link: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...itions_tab.htm

Please clarify if you are having a different observation of function.

            Hello,

"If you select flatten everything in the positions tab it would be expected to perform the same as the NT7 function." (??)

In NT7 with flatten everything all strategies are disabled.

In NT8 you can not use flatten everything when you are not in a position.

            Best regards
            Tony

              Hello Tony,

              Thanks for your reply.

You can use the hot key option suggested by member brucerobinson (you would likely need to set it up: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ey_manager.htm).

You can also right mouse click on a superdom and select "flatten everything".

                  Hello Steve4616,

Yes, you may use the Control Center's Tools > Options > Trading Menu, and the Auto Close Position feature that can be found there.
