    Bug in NinjaTrader 8.0.17.2 (and possible after 15.1)

    Hello!

    When I test my stragy with Market Replay it stops after a certain time.
    For example, if I run a test for Q1-2018 it stops at 2018-03-12 at 05:00:01
    The application freezes and I can't continue.

    Thank you for your post.

    The code that is running in Replay is likely causing the NinjaTrader process to fail. Are there any error messages in your latest trace files? Those can be found under ..\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\trace. If you run the SampleMACrossover strategy over the same data, do you get the same error? Do you also get the error with your strategy if you backtest a smaller time frame?

    If you would like for me to look at your logs and trace files for errors, please go to Help>Email Support from the NinjaTrader Control Center, and paste this forum thread link in the body of the email. Ensure that "Log and trace files" is checked. This will send an email to us from your specified email address and we can continue through email until we find a resolution.

      Thanks for your fast answer Chris!
      But how come that this error has introduced ifself after minor version 15.
      It has never been a problem before that.
      Since I have gone back to the earlier version to be able to work, do I really need to uninstall this version together with all data and reinstall the latest version and run the test to get your data/log.
      Is it not possible for you to do that kind ot tests?

        I will need to test your code file in NT 8r17.2 vs. r15. Please Export the script to add needed dependencies. You may post the exported .zip file here if you wish, you may also email the script to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and reference the link to this forum thread in the body.

          Hello!
          Suddenly the same problem has occured in version 8.0.21.1 64-bit and I don't remember how it was solved. We've got summertime change recently here in europe. Can that affect? I use futures 6E and I know that the script is OK aince I have used it for a llong time. I will e-mail the log and trace to platformsupport.
