    Indicator - prior day OHLC

Looking at SPY charts it seems to be drawing the low (red line) at the low in after hours not the previous trading session and the close (slate coloured dashed line) around the same level

          Hello Irukandji,

          Thank you for your response.

I am unable to reproduce this behavior with the PriorDayOHLC. Can you right click in your chart --> select the Indicators option --> select your PriorDayOHLC and then provide a screenshot of your settings? Can you do the same for the right click --> Data Series menu in your chart?

I look forward to your response.

              Hello Irukandji,

              Thank you for your response.

The 'Default 24/7' Trading Hours Template uses midnight Eastern Time (US & Canada) as it's new session. Your screenshots would indicate the new session has not occurred on your chart.

Can you confirm your Time Zone set for your PC and NinjaTrader 8 under Tools --> Options --> General --> Time Zone?

I look forward to your response.

UTC -05:00 ET (set to new york time)

the after hours is from close of market 16:00 - until 20:00

then it begins charting again the pre-market session from 04:00 - until 09:30 when the market opens again

I am noticing that the close and low are being drawn from the lows and close of the post-market hours (until 20:00) - I don't want this - I want to see the close and low of the normal market hours.

                Thanks.

                  Hello Irukandji,

                  Thank you for your reply.

If you want to view the 24/7 bars but plot the Prior day OHLC of the normal market hours, you'll need to add a second 1 minute AMD data series to your chart and apply the template for normal RTH Trading Hours to this secondary series. You should now see two-paneled chart with 1 minute 24/7 bars on top and 1 minute RTH bars below. Next, right click and select Indicators... Find your Prior Day OHLC indicator in the top left hand corner, and click New to add it. In the parameters to the right, set your Input Series to your 1 minute RTH data series (Close). Set your Panel to 1,and click OK. Last, move your pointer to the right of your price axis (y-axis) on the top panel of your chart window, and right click>Maximize.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.
