LSE Equity mapping for IQfeed data and IB trading

Hi,

How can I automatically update the mapping on uploaded stock instrument lists for LSE stocks so that they are recognised by IQfeed and IB?

There are over 1500 individual stocks so it is not reasonable to do this individually.

IQfeed generally has "L." before the ticker whereas IB uses the normal ticker. So really just need to add in the IQfeed mapping for all stocks.

Is there possibly some script that could be made to update that section of the instrument list? All that needs to happen is have an "l." placed in front of every ticker for the IQfeed option.

Is there an unsupported means? Without one it pretty much makes NT8 redundant for trading UK Equities
