is it possible to increase the size of the Chart Markers?

NT 8 is also behaving different to NT7 when entering text on the chart
press enter and you got to the next line in NT7
in NT8 the text field gets drawn immediately (and if you type on the instrument search pops up)

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the size of the buy and sell markers plotting trade executions. You can change the color in the Data Series window, but the size cannot be increased/decreased.

If you would like, I can submit request to our Product Development team.

You can go to the next line of the Text tool in NinjaTrader 8 by pressing ALT + ENTER.

I also recognized, that on NT7 I was able to unlock all objects drawn by an indicator by code, then delete them by choosing to RemoveAllDrawObjects
that is not possible in NT8 anymore (the unlock by code still works, but those objects aren't removed anymore)

it's the objects drawn by an indicator, that were set by the indicator to IsLocked = false; and AllowRemovalOfDrawObjects = true;

I wanted to gather more details about this, are you saying that the indicator which draws the object cannot use RemoveDrawObjects() to remove its objects? Is this only happening if you toggle IsLocked first? If you have a small sample of what you are doing that is not currently working, that would be helpful.

I want to set AllowRemovalOfDrawObjects = true; then change the properties of all objects drawn by the indicator to IsLocked = false;

in the UI
I want to hit "Remove All Drawing Objects" and have those objects removed from the chart

this was possible in NT7

yes, like it was possible in NT7

this was a very nice feature to clear up the chart and look at just the bars without removing all indicators 1st

Unfortunately it is not supported to change the size of chart markers - it is still on the list of possible feature enhancements.

There is an add-on available on the NinjaTrader ecosystem website at the link below that allows you to change the size.
