Can we have this ability for charts? So they will be auto shifted from right border when, for e.g., I'm changing chart's instrument and I don't need to manually scroll them every time I'm doing it.

Not a convenient way to look at the charts, as I find it. Need to scroll them all the time. And having the ability to set a default distance for a newly opened chart as well will benefit greatly to NT8.

This distance from the right side margin is configurable. I suspect if you changed this property so the default is a larger distance, you would no longer have to manually move the data and therefore the root issue of the chart returning to default would not be an issue. Follow these steps:- Right-click on your chart > Properties
- Adjust 'Right side margin' to a larger number > OK
