    Will not LOAD

    My nt8 will not load. I have not opened nt8 since late Jan due to issues outside of trading. I attempted to open nt8 today. No luck, it'll load partially then close. I have tried uninstalling completely. Uninstalling antivirus, and various.

    Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

    To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn - 2127874', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

      Is there a way to do that without opening NT8 up? It will not fully load to allow me to go to the tabs

        Thank you for your post.

        Yes, you could send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with your log and trace files included as an attachment to the email.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
        Put 'Att Shawn - 2127874', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

          Hello peregrine,

          If you send in your log files, I might be able to find a specific item that is causing NinjaTrader to not load. To get NinjaTrader to launch in a blank workspace, navigate to Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces and delete the file named _Workspaces. After this, test if NinjaTrader starts.
