Unable to Open Workspace file ( feature removed in Nt8 worksapce menu)

I am trying to open a workspace created on my other Nt8 machine but NT8 seems unable to open any workspace unless I saved as already with that same name.
In other word the procedure to open a workspace not created in the same machine appear to be very difficult and laborious.. In Nt7 all I needed to do is to place the file in the worksapce directory and then just click on open workspace.
Is that true? It seems incredible that NinjaTrader has created such impediment.
Can you explain how?

Thank you for your reply.

To open a workspace file in NinjaTrader 8 that was originally from your other NT8 machine, you would need to place the workspace in the workspace folder while NinjaTrader is shut down. Upon restarting, you should then see the workspace in the workspaces menu and should be able to click on it to open it.

Yes it works but can I request to resolve this limitation. A program should not require a full restart to be able to reload a directory.
