Volumetric Bars and Tick Replay

I am using a third party order flow software for NT 8 and see I need to check off tick replay to use it. It seems the new volumetric bars do not need this feature enabled. Are they using tick data too? And how far can you go back on a chart with them as tick data is limited to a few days historically. Great job on the volumetric bars!!!!

Tick data is used to build the Order Flow+ Volumertric bar type, however, tick replay does not necessarily need to be enabled.

The amount of historical tick data available to build these bars would only be limited by your chart settings and data provider.

You can control the 'Days to load' on your chart by

• Right-clicking on the chart > Select 'Data Series'
• Find 'Days to load' > Increase the number > OK

Keep in mind that increasing the days to load on a tick-based chart will likely increase the load of the performance impact of that chart.

Please contact your broker/data provider directly to find out how much historical tick data is available to you.

Would you be able to provide more information on what you mean by reloaded? You are clicking Reload Historical Data? And when doing so the values do not come through?

I pressed F5 to refresh the chart and the value of my recorded delta of the 2 realtime bars are not the same on the value of that said bar even though I used Tick Replay and access market data on the OnMarketUpdate section. Any do you have any example in calling Volumetric in a script?

F5 is going to reload NinjaScript not the chart data.

May I confirm you are reloading chart data and not reloading NinjaScript?
