    Interactive Brokers Interface Problem

    Dear Sir,

    your IB interface problems continue to persist:

    Do the following:
    1.) Place order in TWS (stopp order in my case)
    2.) Open NT8 and connect
    3.) Cancel the order from within NT8 = > Message with request to cancel this external order from within TWS.
    4.) OK,cancel the order from within TWS. All done.
    5.) Order remains visible and stalled in NT8.

    Please fix

    (P.S. in previous private communciation with your support I pointed out a solution for better TWS integration but disregarded by NT staff. It is probably better to do all communication with NT support public only)

    I will test it on my end when I have time. Am I correct you have TWS 960.2g installed?

      I can reproduce the issue on my end. I will send a report to development. If I perform a disconnect/re-connect of IB in NinjaTrader, it will remove the order.

        When testing a 2nd time, the order was cancelled and not displayed in NinjaTrader anymore after cancelling it in NinjaTrader (order was cancelled in TWS as well). During the 3rd time, I cancelled the order from TWS and also this time the order was cancelled and not displayed anymore in NinjaTrader.

        Do you experience the same behavior or is the order still displayed in NinjaTrader each time you test?

          IB Interface problem

          I can deduce from your findings that the problem is linked to to popup message in NT8 (unable to cancel external order....) that happens when you try to cancel the order within NT8).
          It looks like whenever you try - unsuccessfully due to NT8 limitations- to cancel an 'external 'order then afterwards it is not removed from the screen and order list.

            Yes, I did not get the popup message during the 2nd test when I cancelled the order in NinjaTrader. Do you always get this pop up message when trying to cancel an order in NinjaTrader (that was submitted in TWS)? If you try it a 2nd time, do you get the popup message?
