NinjaTrader Freezes and workspace is lost

    NinjaTrader Freezes and workspace is lost

    The Ninjatrader freezes and I can't close it, so I have to use task manager to close it.

    When I restart the workspace has disappeared and I have to go into the workspace recovery to fish it out and copy it into the correct folder to carry on.

    It seems when Ninja crashes it must corrupt the workspace and delete it ?

    This is happening a lot recently

    Me too! Have become quite used to restoring previous backup versions of workspaces. Also find that sometimes on start up that some of my workspace charts have lost all of their indicators and load a blank chart. Once again I have to restore a backup of the workspace to get the original collection of indicators back.

      moral of the story, backup everything and as often as you can.

        Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

        To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2139748 Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
