    % Change since open?

Is there a way to see the % change since open for stocks and filter them in Hot List Analyzer?

    TIA

    Hello reedstickets,
    Thanks for your post.

You can see the total net change since the beginning of the session with the new Market Watch window in 8.0.18.0

Please see the release notes here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help.../?8_0_18_0.htm

You can access this window from your Control Center>>New>>Market Watch

Thanks Josh, is there anyway to access that for using as filters in analyzers?

        reedsticks,

You could use the "Net change" column in the Market Analyzer. Beyond these two methods there would not be another default way to view this information.

          Hi Josh,

Is Net change since since previous close or change since open?

            reedstickets,

Yes, it would be measuring since the current session open.

In hot list analyzer with IB I believe it is the Net change since previous close. At least that is what I am seeing.

                reedstickets,

Yeh, looks like you are correct. I took a look at the code for how the percentage is calculated in the Net Change Market Analyzer column and it does indeed use LastClose.

I seem to have misread the Release Notes since the Market Watch window will also use LastClose.

                    Hello Harvard,

                    Thank you for your post!

The Net Change column in the Market Analyzer still uses LastClose for its calculations.

It appears that an indicator that may meet your needs is included in this indicator pack publicly available on our User App Share site:This looks to contain an indicator called "Zombie3NetPriceChange" that looks like it would plot what you're looking for, but on a chart.

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

                    To Import:
                    1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
                    2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
                    3. Select the downloaded .zip file
                    4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
                    • Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK
Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

                        Dear Ninja-Team,

I would like to submit a feature request for the " % change since open " in the market analyzer.

                        Kind regards,
