Filter for hot list analyzer?
When I create a filter for Hot List Analyzer such as "only show stock with a last price greater then 7" it does nothing. I still have stocks with last prices of $2 and so forth. This happens for any filter I create. Ho do I get filters to work?

If I enable "filter row" ll the stocks in the list dispapear even if they have a last price over $7.

Hello Reedstickets,
Thank you for your post.
The filter conditions for your columns state the conditions that hide the row, so if you were setting your filter for greater than 7, it would hide the rows greater than 7.
To set up your filters:- Right click in the Hot List Analyzer, and select "Columns"
- In the columns menu select the "Last Price" option in the "Configured" section, to filter by Last Price. Then hover your mouse over the "Filter Conditions" item and click "Edit Condition" (see screenshot).
- In the Filter Window, click "add", then set your Properties to: (see screenshot)
- Apply to = All
- Condition = Less
- Value = 7 (or whatever level you want to filter your price below)
- Click OK to close the Filter Window
- Click OK to close the Columns Window
- Then to enable your filter, right click in the Hot List Analyzer and select the "Row Filter" option (see screenshot).

Sorry, I mis spoke, I do have it set for "hide row if last price is "less then 7" . With "filter row" enabled it hides everything, I see many stocks with prices well over $7.
I have it set exact to your example and it removes all instruments, regardless of filter criteria.

Hello Reedstickets,
Thank you for your reply.
I'd like to take a more detailed look at this specific issue. If you could submit an email to platformsupport(AT)ninjatrader[DOT]com Please include "ATTN: Heath" somewhere in the subject line, and a link to this forum post in the body of the email. If you could attach some screenshots showing your specific filter and column settings that would also help.
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Thank you, I'll await your email.Last edited by NinjaTrader_DrewO; 05-08-2019, 12:18 PM.Heath R.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I am very confused. The Hot list analyzer total results do not meet IB results at all. Why would I not be getting the full scan results to match when running no filters?

I don't know, this is not working at all. Now it shows nothing with the same exact filter setting as IB scanner which has like 20 results.
