Hello all, we have extensive experience with custom hot keys and can create a custom indicator to quickly change quantity. We can make the indicator and include it for free with a trading server subscription.

Yes, this feature is now possible. To enable it go to
Tools>Options>Trading>Use order entry hot keys>check the box
THEN GO TO
Tools>Hot keys>Order entry>Custom orders>add>choose parameters

As an example for my orders I selected a limit order so the order opens at exactly where I place my order, never above or below by even one tick and here's my setup

Buy>Limit>Ask>Minus>15>Alt+O
Sell>Limit>Ask>Plus>15>Alt+P

*The sell and buy have reversed plus and minus because if you right click to place your order, you have to be below current price to buy, or above current price to sell

This is not the same as our type of request. We use MARKET ORDERS, so we want to be able to edit the order qty with hotkeys before placing the market order. Your method is to place limit orders. Even if you do it manually, you have plenty of time to edit as it takes time to hit the limit orders. Our market orders are immediate, so we need hot keys to speed things up.

Hi Melissa, kindly add me to the vote. This is super important for people like me who are placing market orders and trading multiple instruments. We need to tweak the order qty constantly on the fly for position sizing. Thanks
